Sponsored Programs

The Kiwanis Club of Conejo Valley is looking for students with interest in establishing a Kiwanis youth club in their school. This is a great way to meet other kids with a similar interest in helping other children in their community. Opportunities include:

K-Kids
     K-Kids

K-Kids provides the opportunity to develop self-esteem, leadership skills, morals and standards, and respect for others. This program involves elementary students, their parents, teachers, and Kiwanians in developing a character education opportunity as well as exposure to the concepts of community service and service learning. Members learn that their opinions and ideas count and that they can be productive members of society. They form sound personal values and experience satisfaction in knowing they did something to help improve the world around them. K-Kids members learn to work together as a group and yet be strong individually.

For information, visit the K-Kids website. To be part of a new club in your school, contact Ken Walker, President for the Kiwanis Club of Conejo Valley.

Builders Club
Builders Club

Builders Club provides a way to form sound personal values based on experiences in meaningful community-service activities. The members learn by doing. They learn organization, teamwork, and leadership. But the most important lesson they can learn is that individuals working together can and will make a difference to the world around them.

For information, visit the Builders Club website. To be part of a new club in your school, contact Ken Walker, Director of Programs for the Kiwanis Club of Conejo Valley.

Key Club

Circle K
   Circle K

Circle K is a collegiate service organization with a worldwide membership that promotes fellowship, leadership, and service. The mission of the Club is to develop college and university students into responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to serving the children of the world. Although each Circle K club is sponsored by a Kiwanis club, college and university students govern the organization on all levels. A board of officers on the district level, and an International Board of Trustees comprise the leadership teams.
